Seminole County borders north Orlando,. How can a small county CVB with a modest budget compete against the hundred million dollar plus advertising budget of the Orlando CVB? We strategically rebranded them as a real, natural alternative place to stay and play when they are visiting the make believe lands of Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. The result? Our outdoor adventure,360-degree integrated branding campaign not only grew visitation, room nights, and group meetings by double-digits, the campaign won Gold Medals and Best of Show at the Adrian Awards (the Oscars of the Tourism and Hospitality Industry) and Visit Florida’s Flagler Tourism Awards.
