HIGHER EDUCATION WORK

TILT36T ° is a creative innovation boutique that helps our partners find their truth through differentiation and brand storytelling. One vertical we specialize in is Higher Education and have created campaigns for 30+ colleges and universities helping them to becoming true courage brands.  Founder, Rob DeLuke, personally created many disruptive creative campaigns over the last 20+ years – including many for higher education clients as the SVP,  Chief Creative Officer at HotChalk and CCA (both higher education marketing specialists). In fact, most of those creative teams are now TILT36T° contract workers and employees – and share in the acquired talent and passion higher education demands. Each member of the Tilt36T° team is an expert in their field with deep insight into what drives people to choose who becomes part of their consideration set, along with the experience to ensure consumers can envision themselves becoming part of a brand through visual storytelling, leading to staunch brand loyalty.

Ball State University
This was a complete re-brand of the university, modeled after the foundational pillars that President Mearns envisioned for the institution to soar into 21st-century learning. The campaign was designed to reflect the authentic attributes for which “True Cardinals” are known and the spirit they bring to the community of Muncie and the state of Indiana. The campaign embraced the entrepreneurial, underdog drive which embodies these specific students with the power to tackle the future by discovering their true passion. We launched the re-brand with a new contemporary update to their current logo which features Beneficence (Benny) that truly embodies the feeling of the institution’s community and the philanthropy of the Ball Brothers along with the legendary campus lore that revolves around Benny. We created a brand platform that embraced upward mobility and challenged each other to reach beyond. And with Beneficence as our guide – “We Fly.” The centerpiece of the campaign was the brand video, a more contemporary logo / brand mark, a robust and detailed style guide, transit and outdoor advertising, environmental graphic, airport advertising, building wraps, brand banners, celebratory Presidential kick-off event featuring Sutton Foster, an American Tony Award winning actress known for her work on the Broadway stage & television.
